JTRCC Care Bed

In November of 2021, with the help of our Health Equity team and a grant from Northern Counties Healthcare, JTRCC opened the first-in-Vermont “Social Detox” Bed.

What this means is, we can take someone overnight if they are medically cleared from North Country Hospital and ready and willing to go to in-patient treatment. We are a safe place to rest, with trained and supportive staff, while a bed at treatment opens up.

You must go to NCH first and be medically cleared. Your belongings will be searched and there will be no visitors, but we will be right with you every step of the way.

All the meals and linens are provided by NCH, and we are so thankful for this life-saving partnership.
