Groups are offered in person and via Zoom, and we have groups Monday – Friday (A.A. meetings are Sundays, 9AM at the North Country Community Hospital in Newport). Groups are a safe and confidential place to share experiences and learn about paths to recovery. Groups are also a great place to meet peers who are going through similar things as you. We offer some groups that follow the twelve step programs to recovery, we offer other groups that follow evidence-based programs and practices, and we offer other groups that are less prescribed by a certain recovery approach.
At JTRCC we understand that there are multiple approaches and paths to recovery. What works for one participant might not work for another. We are here to help create the path of recovery that will help each participant heal, grow, and live their best live.

Narcotics Anonymous (Tuesdays at 6 pm)
Come join us for the only local NA offered right (on zoom or in person). Tuesdays at 6 pm to 7 pm. This group is for anyone who is in recovery from any kind of narcotic. This group is also for anyone interested in a life free from dependence on substances.
Narcotics Anonymous offers recovery from the effects of addiction through working a twelve-step program, including regular attendance at group meetings. The group atmosphere provides help from peers and offers an ongoing support network for addicts who wish to pursue and maintain a drug-free lifestyle. Our name, Narcotics Anonymous, is not meant to imply a focus on any particular drug; NA’s approach makes no distinction between drugs including alcohol. Membership is free, and we have no affiliation with any organizations outside of NA including governments, religions, law enforcement groups, or medical and psychiatric associations. Through all of our service efforts and our cooperation with others seeking to help addicts, we strive to reach a day when every addict in the world has an opportunity to experience our message of recovery in his or her own language and culture.
